Why these letters exist

About Aletheia Letters

Aletheia (ἀλήθεια) means truth.

Aletheia Letters is a collection of writings growing out of Scripture, prayer, study, and the ordinary work of learning to follow Jesus Christ.

Some may read like letters to another believer. Some may be words I need to remember myself. Some may one day be read by my children, grandchildren, or generations I will never meet.

They are not the authority. God's Word is.

Jesus prayed, “Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth” (John 17:17).

These letters are written under that Word—seeking to be searched by it, corrected by it, sanctified through God's truth, and then to walk faithfully in what He has said.
